Off-Road Fun!!

Ride quads around our agility based circuit, get sideways in our Rage Buggies, take control of the bonkers Argocat, learn to ride an off road motorcycle, test you motorcycling skills on our trials schools, master the art of driving a reverse steer Land Rover, discover the countryside from a new perspective on an off-road motorcycle tour, take part in a Segway Rally or come quad trekking around our 26 acre site in Hertfordshire!

The Off Road Activity Centre in Hertfordshire is the ideal venue for anyone aged 16 or over who wants an off-road experience day to remember. A great party idea for stags, hens, families, friends, corporate events and product launches. You can even purchase Experience Day Vouchers for loved ones and friends - an experience they won't forget!

Single or Multi-Activity Packages

In our 'activities' section you will find all the stuff that we offer at The Off Road Activity Centre. You can take part in a single activity or make a day of it and take part in a wide variety of multi-activities - we have packages to suit all budgets. See 'packages' for our bundle deals.

For groups and parties we advise that for every six people you have 1 event minimum, for example if there are 12 people in your party then a minimum of 2 activities is best so people are not having to wait around too long for their go on the toys. If you want to have the whole place to yourselves then that is possible too - we get all the toys out and they are yours to enjoy for either a half or a full day! We are more than happy to tailor a package to your specific requirements.

Closed Gate, Corporate and Large Parties

For larger parties why not simply hire the whole venue for half or a full day? Our Closed Gate Events are ideal for corporate days, stag and hen events or even a family get together. You arrive, we close the gates and the place is all yours! These days can run in a structured way where we split you in to even groups and rotate you around the activities or in a free style way where you can simply queue up for your turn on whatever takes your fancy.

How & When We Operate

In general people are required to book a track time in advance, although on certain occassions we operate an arrive and drive event - see Special Events Calendar opposite. We are open throughout the year and operate group & corporate events throughout the week and open at the weekends for all. Throughout July, August and September we open every Tuesday Evening for our 'Tuesday Taster Sessions' where you can come along and get a taste of some of our activities at a much reduced cost.

In the winter months (November - February) we operate activities that are not affected too much by the weather such as all of our motorcycle based activities, argocats and quads.

We are governed and abide by the guidelines set out by the IOPD (International Organisation of Professional Drivers) who are a Government approved body for the regulation of motorsports. All of our activities are skill based and not race based - racing this type of vehicle would require the participant to have a current racing licence and adequate insurance cover.

Please note that when you book a track time, you are doing exactly that so please ensure that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your allocated time slot. If you have booked an activity such as a 30 minute Rage Buggy session for 10am, your allocated track time is from 10am until 10.30am. If you arrive late you will still finish at 10.30am regardless as there will be people booked in directly after you. Where possible, we will try to be flexible with this but you can not expect everyone booked after your time slot to suffer as a result of your late arrival. If you call us before you arrive to let us know you are running late we may be able to fit you in to a later time slot if one becomes available but this is down to our descretion.
